MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION

Now that you have read our materials, you are aware that search & rescue is time intensive, physically and mentally demanding, and requires a financial investment.  While the “idea” of having a SAR dog ready and able for all emergencies may sound wonderful, reality is that your dog will be training for one to two years. During that time, your dog will not get “used”.  Field personnel will need to gain solid navigation and communication skills along with maintaining their specialty skills.  If you are still interested fill out and submit the membership application form.  One of our members will call you and set up a time for you to come out and meet us.

Your application should clearly describe your skills, reason for interest and your dog if you have one.  Identify any outdoor, first aid or past rescue work skills which you may already have.

Thank you.  We look forward to meeting you!
